Spicy Cauliflower in Air Fryer – Cauliflower florets combined with spices and cooked crisper in Air Fryer with zero oil.
The World is in lockdown. People are stuck at home while healthcare professionals are working day and night to protect us. May God give them all strength and health for their noble service. The COVID19 is spreading very rapidly and the entire world is fighting to contain it. All they request us is to stay at home and break the chain of spread.
The world is undergoing a tough time and we all should do our part to prevent the spread. Let’s stay at home and stay safe for ourselves and for our loved ones. And I do see so many social media posts about depression and being stuck at home. While we whine about staying inside the home, let’s thank God that we do have a place to be, family, to look after and food to eat. My heart goes to those homeless people.
Let’s use this quality to understand ourselves better and be with our loved ones. I hope all this ends soon and the world returns back to normalcy soon.
I had Philips Air Fryer for a year now and finally, now I have all the time in the world to shower him some love. With the limited provision and dwindling supplies, I had limited options. Luckily, I had cauliflower in my refrigerator and here we go – crispy spicy Cauliflower bites in Air Fryer.
Ingredients:
- Cauliflower – 1 (I used smaller sized one)
- Paprika Powder – 1 tablespoon (adjust as per your preference. I like it spicy. hence added a bit more)
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tablespoon
- Garlic powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt as required
- Water as required
Yogurt Sauce:
- Thick Yogurt – 3-4 tablespoons
- Curry Powder/Garam Masala Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Lemon Juice – 1 teaspoon
- Salt and Black Pepper as required
- Water – 2 tablespoons
Method:
- Preheat the Air Fryer at 350 F for about 10 minutes
- Wash cauliflower and cut them into small florets
- In a bowl, combine all the spices together with water to make a thick paste out of it
- Combine the florets with the spice paste and let it dry for about 10 minutes
- Once the fryer is preheated, arrange the florets in the pan and cook for about 10 – 12 minutes. Ensure to flip them through halfway
- Do not overcrowd the pan
- Cook the florets in batches. For the second batch, cook for around 8-10 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients mentioned under Yogurt sauce. Adjust water as per your required consistency.
- Serve the spicy bites with yogurt sauce on the side
